Every so often we’ll be throwing out a sleeper pick, usually a Bruin, for your DraftKings lineup.  Tonight is a no brainer for me; its Ryan Spooner.  Here’s why:

Ryan Spooner: Tonight costs $4,200.  2.9 FPPG player. 18 points (8 goals) in 29 games last year.

First, his line has gelled quickly in preseason.  They were a dominant force the past few weeks and he’s centering two very motivated and hungry wingers in Brett Connolly and Jimmy Hayes.  Secondly, he’s going to get power play minutes and has shown he’s dangerous setting up on his off right wing with the man advantage.  Thirdly, he’s $1,700 cheaper than Bergeron tonight.  Given the balance of the Bruins top three lines, and the fact that Spooners line will match up more often against second and third D-pairs and third and fourth lines, I think his value is a little better.

PS:  Brett Connolly only costs $2,900 tonight.  Pair ’em up for a sleeper package then PayPal me 25% of your winnings.
