(SOURCE: Boston) – The hits just keep on coming for the Boston Bruins, and these aren’t the good kind.  Brad Marchand was forced to leave Saturday night’s 4-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens midway through the third period after suffering a blow to the head.

Fun! Great news just keeps rolling in for the Boston Bruins!  Last years leading goal scorer Brad Marchand is a huge cog in the Bruins lineup and any significant time sidelined would be another log on the current dumpster fire in Boston.  Regardless of the teams overall current picture, any time a player goes down with a head injury you have to worry.  He didn’t look so hot coming off the ice heading down the tunnel to the locker room.  “Nothing [on his status] because it happened late in the game,” said Julien after the game. “I haven’t even had an opportunity to talk to anybody about him.”

More to come on this later Sunday…
